Tea: My mother has been PSYCHOLOGICALLY HARMED by my continued existence

GIRLS! GAYS! GENTLETHEYS! U better believe I RAN home on my own lil tootsies so i could tell u the TEA. Sitting on this information for the past 24 hours has made it the hardest 24 hours of my life.

So i was spending the night at my grandparents’ house as i usually do at least once a week (to keep them company and help them run errands) (and to eat pizza and ice cream for dinner yayyyyyy) and peepaw informed me that my mother had been to visit. She must not have visited in a while bc once she arrived she found the decor UTTERLY OFFENSIVE!!!!!!1!1 she had entered a HOSTILE ZONE!! Walking into the foyer she was immediately assaulted by a large framed photo of me and boo enjoying our gorgeous wedding (she was there. She did not regard either of us) and another framed photo, a copy of an art piece peepaw had commissionҽd me to draw of my mom and stepdad. 

My grandpa had also paid for an additional framed copy for my mom to take home, as a gift. Surely this should come across as a fatherly gesture of good will and paternal care!!

But instead of accepting graciously, she SCOFFED and said:

“But what about Adrian?”

And thus, the Aidz Clause had been invoked.

Adrian is my brother, and my mother’s only child if she could have it such a way. She hates me PROFESSIONALLY (she does not get paid) She hates me CHARITABLY.

But what about Aidz? Was he not sufficiently represented in the household? My grandpa gestured towards the TWO photos of Adrian displayed on a coffee table and shelf across the way, underneath a large spiral staircase and the largest chandelier in the house. But apparently the location too was offensive to my mother, and my grandpa then sourced an additional framed art piece he had commissionҽd of Adrian to add to The Aidz Shrine. I suspect peepaw will soon have to locate alternative real estate for the Aidz shrine before my mother’s next visit - he has abt 6 months to secure new premises perhaps. An Aidz wing should hopefully be under construction by Christmas. Skull emoji.

But we all know this isn’t about Adrian. He wasn’t even there. He was UNINVOLVED in this INCIDENT!! Unaware that his likeness had once agin been summoned to defend my mother from the psychological devastation of seeing me. This was about derailing the narrative when my mother was ASSAULTED by the reminder that I not only exist, but am also intimidatingly GORJES and TERRIBLY TALENTED (and now she has to take home a portrait i made of her and Dave and probably keep it in its box and Feel Weird abt it every time she walks by it). Yes, i am also impossible to escape. 

Imagine being so haunted by ur daughter that a framed photograph becomes a jumpscare.

What did i ever do to my mother u ask? 

Fuck if i know. I was talking to boo abt it the other night and if I HAD to put all my bings on ONE answer, Id say its bc her father never hugged her, and when i was born he discovered True Love, and started coming home from work during lunches just to see me. She said THAT SHOULD BE M E !!!!! And additionally I think she is also super mad that her biggest opp is a bitch SHE went out of her way to give birth to XDD 

Anyway. Photos of Aidz that were present in just ONE of the many rooms of my grandparents’ house as proof that my brother is very reasonably represented in that household. Proof that he has in fact NOT been erased from the family archives.

That last one is my personal fav bc it reminds me of how far I’ve come from being an awkward 12yo w braces and acne TwT (I am now strange and offputting in other ways :3)

4. My mother remains my strongest hater.
